Marlowe exists because finishing a book properly takes more skills than any one person reliably has — and because getting that help should not feel like gambling on a marketplace.
Why we work this way
Most authors do not need a publisher. They need an editor who will be honest, a designer who understands their genre, someone who can typeset an interior properly, and someone who knows how Amazon KDP actually behaves. Those are four different people, and finding all four separately is exhausting.
Marlowe puts them in one place, with one process. You order a service, we assign the right specialist, and you follow the work on a private page — messages, files, delivery, all in one thread. When it is done, you accept it, and that order closes.
What we deliberately avoided building is a marketplace. You are not posting a job, comparing bids, or hoping a stranger with a five-star badge is as good as their reviews suggest. You are hiring an agency that assigns the work and stands behind it.
What we will not do
- Take rights to your book. It stays entirely yours.
- Hold your Amazon account or receive your royalties. Amazon pays you directly.
- Promise sales, rankings or reviews. Nobody honest can.
- Show your work publicly without asking you first.
- Publish anywhere other than Amazon KDP, because that is the platform we actually specialise in.

Confidential by default
Your manuscript is private property. Files are stored privately, access is limited to the specialist assigned to your project, download links expire, and nothing is shown publicly without your written permission.
One stage at a time
We do not sell packages that bundle four services you might not need. You order the stage your book is actually at, and decide about the next one later.
Honest about what we do
We publish to Amazon KDP and say so. We do not claim affiliations we do not have, invent statistics, or promise sales figures nobody can guarantee.
